Numbering Options

Clicking on this command will display Numbering of particular objects display in the View Window. Users can additionally go to the View Tab of the Navigator Bar and select additional Numbering items. Here, one can select from a list of objects (e.g., Points, Lines, Surface, FE-Nodes), for which their numbering should be displayed in the View Window.

Each object has its own number (index) that serves for unique identification of an object for operations such as Edit, Delete, or Find. Object numbering is fully controlled by the user (a user specifies the object index) and does not have to be continuous (indexes do not have to sequentially increase).
