Edit Wetland Concentration

Use this command to specify the initial condition for concentrations used in the Wetland module by defining the initial spatial distribution of the concentration of various components over the flow region. The initial condition is given in two steps. First, a certain spatial region is selected with the mouse. Next, the value of the concentration, c, assigned as initial condition to a selected region is specified in the pop-up window. The initial condition can be imported from the results of a previous application using the Import Initial Conditions command.

Initial conditions have to be specified for the liquid phase concentrations for the following components:

• Dissolved Oxygen
• Readily Biodegradable Organic Mater
• Slowly Biodegradable Organic Mater
• Inert Organic Mater
• Ammonia (NH4-N)
• Nitrite (NO2-N)
• Nitrate (NO3-N)
• Dinitrogen (N2-N
• Inorganic Phosphorus
• Tracer

Initial conditions have to be also specified for the solid phase concentrations for the following components:

• Heterotrophic Microorganisms
• Autotrophic Microorganisms –NS
• Autotrophic Microorganisms -NB
• Ammonia (NH4-N)
• Inorganic Phosphorus
• Tracer
